Position Summary
Responsible for credentialing and privileging for the Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals at St. Catherine Hospital. Also, provides support for the providers who are applying for multi system hospital privileges that include St. Catherine Hospital. Responsible for all other departmental functions including Operational Assistant responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Front office responsibility for Medical Staff and Allied Health Professional Staff.
- Credentialing of Staff; reviewing applications, profile preparation, meeting attendance, auditing files.
- Coordinates assigned medical staff and committee meeting functions.
Education/Experience
- Associate degree preferred.
- Certified Provider Credential Specialist (CPCS) is highly preferred.
- Three years’ experience in a Medical Staff Services Dept. with 1 year credentialing exp. Required.
